FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, South Range, WI: Raindance Farms, LLC is pleased to announce the merger and acquisition of Safe Haven Walking Horses has been completed, effective July 25, 2008. Officials of the merged entity report a smooth transition.

The merger was accomplished aboard a chartered train over the French River, when the former Kathi L. Davis acquired the former Jeffrey L. Tucker. “I’ve been practicing my new name for quite some time in preparation for the merger,” reports partner Jeffrey L. Tucker. “While it took a little practice, I can now sign my name just fine and it rolls off my tongue smoothly…Mr. Jeffrey L. Tucker.”

As part of the merger, Raindance Farms, LLC announces the following appointments:
Kathi L. Tucker has been named CEO (Chief Equine Officer), Jeffrey L. Tucker – CFO (Chief Farm Officer), Walker – CCO (Chief Canine Officer) and Annie – COE (Chief Oldest Equine), representing the herd from her corner run-in office. A chief feline officer has not been appointed as none of the cats were willing to listen to the others and showed a surprising lack of interest in administration or representation, the general consensus seeming to be that they feel they run everything anyway. This was disputed by Walker to no avail as the feline population refused to listen to him as well. Negotiations are expected to continue over the next 11 years or so.

Whew. What more can I say… We’re wiped. Still have clean up to do so you can watch us as we drag along…but what a GREAT BBQ. What a wonderful group of people you all are. I heard it time and again – it was like we were all family – only we got along well! Such warmth and friendliness. We didn’t get near as much time as we’d like to have with everyone so I’m sorry about that. At last count there were 105 that showed up and we probably missed more than that. I’ll get some pictures up soon but wanted to say thank you thank you thank you to you wonderful people!
