Jeff & Kathi,

I've been reading the reliving of Windchill's story with tears and dreading the last posts, but...

C.S. Lewis (a great Christian writer) posited that just as we derive our humanness from God, our animals derive their being from us. It makes sense, since we are all relational creatures who depend on an "other" for who we are.

Windchill found himself with you and Kathi and his team. You will see him agian - not in some reincarnated animal, but in the new creation. He'll be there... he's waiting for you.

Thanks for the new tears. Really. I so loved that little guy.
