Training to be a Bikini Competitor – Part 3

Meal Plan, Train Hard, Meal Prep, Repeat!

People are starting to notice and when they ask what you are doing they are either totally behind you and will become a HUGE motivator to you or they think you are crazy….;-D

Some details other then the gym & meal prep that needed to be tended to.

  1. Take a posing class or 500!  I think I took 6 classes…..Posing was the scariest, most awkward thing.  But if you take classes and practice, practice, practice you will get it.  I watched a ton of youtube videos too.  By watching the videos I saw what my posing coach was talking about when she would say “be sure not to do this”  “put your hand here”, “don’t forget to smile”.
  2. I had to pick a suit.  I had mine custom made for me by Perfect Fit Gear(LOVE THEM).  They are a dream to work with and did such a great job.  I would highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a custom suit.
  3. Sign up for your show of choice & pick the classes you will be competing in.
  4. Book your hotel early, the host hotels blocked rooms usually fill up fast and to get the best price book early!
  5. I would book your hair, make-up & spray tan as soon as you are signed up for the show as well.  Again, I would book with the show hosted hair, make-up and tan experts.  It is so handy having them right at your hotel & they are usually available backstage of the show for any touch-ups.
  6. Last, but definitely not least(what you will hear over and over) Enjoy Your Journey!

Next time…a little look into my day 🙂

Thanks of stopping by!
