I thought I had originally got this recipe from heandsheeatclean.com  but was just on there site and could not locate it, but they have other amazing clean recipes so I would check them out anyway!

This recipe is one of my favorite clean meals….

1 lb Ground Turkey

1 TBSP + 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

1/2 TBSP Basil

1/2 TBSP Oregano

1 tsp Garlic Powder

2 Eggs Whites

1/2 Cup Oats

1 Cup Tomato/Spaghetti Sauce (Organic or Homemade)

1 Cup Low-Fat Cottage Cheese

***Your choice of clean toppings….(I usually use whatever is left over in my fridge) but some suggestions: Spinach, red, yellow, orange or green pepper(or all three), onion, cucumber, mushrooms…etc…

Directions:

  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the “crust”(ground turkey, Italian seasoning, basil, garlic, egg whites & oats) by hand
  3. Flatten the “crust” on a pizza stone or 9×13 pan
  4. Bake “crust” at 350 for 20 minutes
  5. While the “crust” is baking mix the tomato sauce/spaghetti sauce  & cottage cheese together
  6. Take “crust” out of the oven
  7. Spread the sauce mixture evenly on the “crust”
  8. Add your toppings
