AAHHH! The fitness/weight struggle so many of us have gone through! I think I have tried every “fad diet” there is, Atkins, Weight Watcher, cleansing diet(liquid only), low fat, low carb, veggies only, and so on…..some worked for a while others not at all. Where does this struggle stem from? Who knows, I do know in my own struggle of “just 5 more pounds, if I can be 5 pounds thinner I will be happy with my weight”, yea right!! That 5 pounds was never good enough…..after many years of “not good enough” I have choose to be ok with who I am…I eat healthy, workout hard with cardio and weights and try not to focus on the number on the scale. Let yourself be inspired by others and let them be your motivation – Doing that helped me achieve my fitness goals –
These 3 people have inspired me and kept me motivated in some way to achieve my fitness goals on a daily basis. First, my best friend, workout partner, cooking partner & #1 fan all wrapped into one word…..my husband without him I can honestly say I would have given up long ago, the next two ladies are strong daily motivators whether they are aware of it or not. Leah’s daily posts on Facebook of her workouts, quotes, thoughts. & photos helped keep me going, when somedays I didn’t want to hit the gym. I work with Nicole from hopepraysweat.com she is a true inspiration of fitness, clean eating and how to be a positive person! Ok, enough gushy, I LOVE YOU MAN….feelings stuff.
Knowledge is power, I spent hours reading, researching, talking to others who have a love of fitness and then reading and researching some more. Once I made the commitment and put the work into it, the results followed. Let me tell you once you start seeing your transformation you will be motivated beyond words!
